Meet the iPHA Affiliates: Passive House Bulgaria

The International Passive House Association (iPHA) was founded in 2010 to support the growing global Passive House community, disseminate information on the Passive House Standard, and foster a greater public understanding of its significance. iPHA partners with independent Passive House organisations called ‘Affiliates’ all over the world. Over the years, iPHA has seen the number of affiliates and members grow to a massive number of 6500+ members and now welcomed to the network a new affiliate, Passive House Bulgaria, bringing the total number to 22. This series of interviews highlights iPHA Affiliates and their local activities and developments.

Passive House Bulgaria was established in 2011 in partnership with the Passive House Institute to advance the Passive House concept in Bulgaria. The organisation is dedicated to providing training, showcasing built examples, sharing expertise, and managing certifications.

Founded by Svetlin Dobrevski, an Accredited Passive House Trainer since its inception and a Certifier since 2017, the team also includes his son Anton Dobrevski, who became a Passive House Consultant in 2014 and a Trainer in 2018, contributing significantly to the organisation’s efforts.
